This CD is centered around my life and the struggles
I had to overcome over the years.
Molested at the age of 8 (I’m Not Afraid To Talk About It), I contemplated suicide after my divorce (I’ll Pray), and the devastation of Hurricane Katrina (Praise Him) are some of the struggles I have prevailed. But God’s word, "He will not leave you nor forsake you," (Deuteronomy 31:6) allowed me to face my fears with boldness, knowing the Lord is always near.
No matter what happens to us, we have this assurance, "God is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in times of trouble". (Psalm 46:1).
